stephanie gail hard, -- gale gailhard, wusa 9. >> they asked about the neighbor's concerns. so far, no one has called us back. two women were injured when a glass table fell more than 20 stories in midtown manhattan this morning. authorities suspected they lifted the table off the balcony at 39th street and 7th avenue. that table shattered on the sidewalk, below, sending glass everywhere. fortunately, those injured women are okay. but this could have been much worse. >> a nearly 70-year-old bridge came falling down in oklahoma. the bridge was demolished this morning. that bridge built in 1949 and was in pretty bad shape. a replacement bridge opened to traffic last month. >> reporter: the national weather service has yet to confirm whether a tornado touched down this morning in the miami area. powerful storms with wind up to 65 miles per hour, uprooted trees and downed power lines in

roofs were ripped off buildings. and the good year blimp hangar in pompano beach was damaged. high winds also flipped a tractor-trailer, backing up traffic for miles. >> well, our up-and-down temperatures mean -- and you knew this was coming. this is pothole season. the stretch of the inner loop of the beltway between connecticut and georgia avenue, disabled multiple vehicle. mechanic said many of those damaged cars need thousands of dollars in repairs. >> just be careful. i mean, there's a lot of potholes all over the place. so just be careful and slow down. and you know, just pay attention. >> this mechanic has a pothole story of his own. showing the potholes can damage the car at any time. >> it is that time of year, though, right? >> hit a few on the way to work today. >> did you? >> oh, yeah. yeah. and we're kind of looking at freeze and thaw, freeze and thaw now. let's start with a live look outside. i'm sure it will start

so there aren't conflicting reports out today, regarding the status of contract talks between curt cousins and the washington redskins. espn is reporting that the two sides are far apart and the talks have seized, with nothing further scheduled. however, i spoke with insider, jason loco forba, and -- loco fora, and he told me, talks are still ongoing. now, cousins' teammate tweeted out, redskins, pay the man. hashtag, i like that. washington has until march 4th, to use their franchise tag. it could be a special holiday season for burgundy and gold fans today. they are looking at another washington-dallas thanksgiving day this weekend. the two have played seven game it's -- games on that holiday. last time was a seven-point win. the washington capitals return home gh
