0-15 runs 15 seconds it was a successful launch, but failed landing. this space-x rocket exploded when it fell over at the end of its mission. it launched yesterday morning off the coast of los angeles. but then -- the jason three rocket landed on a floating barge in the pacific ocean. a support leg broke, causing the rocket to topple over and burst into flames. space x founder elon musk said the failed landing may have been caused by ice build-up from heavy fog during lift-off. no people were hurt in the explosion. this morning we are working to learn more about a passenger plane that made an emergency landing in our area. it's after 10 on your side heard from people stuck in norfolk. norfolk international airport says a united airlines plane was heading from newark, new jersey to santo domingo in the dominican republic.

landing just before noon yesterday. a spokesperson with the airport said there was a problem with the boeing 757's right engine. the plane landed safely with more than two hundred people on board. passengers tell us the airline is going to "try" and fly them out this afternoon. developing this morning, the u-s state department is working to locate at three american contractors kidnapped in iraq. an iraqi security official said a group of gunmen grabbed the americans from an apartment in baghdad. officials in iraq's capital did not offer any details but said they were working with the u-s embassy to get more information. this morning there is still no sign of 12 marines, whose two helicopters crashed. it happened during nighttime training last week. the coast guard has searched for three days around-the-clock looking for survivors. the coast guard says it has no intention of calling off or suspending the search despite the high surf. cg= capt. jim jenkins, u.s. coast guard < we've been searching 24 hours a day since we were

searching for survivors. that's an important point to make. crews collected debris over the weekend bbelieved to be from the two fallen helicopters. so far teams searched more 18-thousand square miles. police in st. louis are investigating what led up to a deadly officer-involved shooting at a fast food restaurant. investigators in missouri say an officer shot and killed a suspect in an armed robery at a k-f-c. a witnessed flagged down the officer and told them about the robbery. the officer confronted the 52- year-old suspect, who then raised a handgun towards the officer. investigators are looking at surveillance video from inside the k-f-c. this morning many people in flint, michigan are scared to drink the water. it's after tests found the water supply was contaminated by lead. reverend jesse jackson led a rally for justice yesterday to protest the governor's response to the crisis. the governor appointed an

lower, but recovered a bit. markets in hong kong and south korea also fell. investors are worried about a global economic meltdown following the release of weak u-s economic data and massive falls in oil prices. this morning, oil fell as much as 4 percent per barrel. the u-s market is closed today because of the holiday. tennis season is back and the australian open is underway in melbourne. but the season open is clouded by a possible scandal. the four governing bodies of tennis reject new reports of widespread match-fixing. they're responding to reports from b-b-c and buzz-feed news. both say they've obtained secret internal files implicating 15 players ranked in the world top 50 in the last decade, includingrand slam winners. while the bbc and buzzfeed reports mainly refer to events from about 10 years ago, we will investigate any new information and we always do."

a hampton man is in custody this morning, accused of shooting four people in gloucester, killing one of them. deputies arrested 18-year-old dijon whitter. they say witnesses helped track him down. the shootings happened

this morning, people in florida are cleaning up after rare tornadoes blew through, killing two people. the storms struck hard early sunday morning. and they hit when most people were asleep. at least two twisters with winds of up to 130 miles per hour, slammed into neighborhoods on

developing this morning, investigators near richmond are still trying to figure out what started a weekend house fire that killed 5 people, including two children. it happened in chesterfield county. ten people were inside at the time. firefighters worked frantically to get them out all. five adults survived. but paramedics say four people died at the scene. the fifth died at the hospital. the victims are a
