now for the breakdown: on the democratic side, clinton won 7 of 11 states; six of them by at least thirty points. she now has close to half of the delegates needed to secure the nomination. senator bernie sanders took home vermont, colorado, minnesota and oklahoma. sanders says: "it is not winner takes all. if you get 52%, you get 48%, you roughly end up with the same amount of delegates in a state." for the republicans, donald trump won seven states... while senator ted cruz was the victor in texas and oklahoma. senator marco rubio scored his first state win... in minnesota. cruz is now pushing candidates to drop out of the race... and rubio is pledging to stay in. cruz says: "for the have not yet won a racked up significant delegates, i ask for you to prayerfully consider our coming together. united." rubio says: "no matter how many weeks and months it takes, i will campaign as long as it takes and wherever it takes
