they're found guilty of endangering children. 8 kids were removed from what police called a "horrible" home in january. police say they found trash, leaking water, cat feces and bugs all over the home. court records show anthony and katina gevedon were ordered to comply with children's services... if they do so, and have no further violations, they will avoid a 90 day jail sentence. tanning beds may no longer be an option for kentucky teenagers... a bill to banning their use for those under 18, just cleared a senate committee. one woman who supports the measure, says she was diagnosed with melanoma just before her junior prom.. after going to tanning salons since middle school.

live cincinnati police tell us the shooting happened just before 10 last night at the intersection of vine and greene. vo we're told there were two people involved in some type of confrontation which led up to the shooting of 31- year-old james mixon. first responders immediately located the victim when they arrived on scene but despite resusitation efforts, the victim succumbed to his injuries. police say at this time, they have one person in custody who they're in the process of questioning. the person who they're talking to has not been named but they're hoping to learn more information from the person of interest regarding the details of the shooting. "it's too early to say. at this time we need to look at all the factors and take into consideration the information that person gives us as well as the information from people who might have observed the scene" live
