geoff: we are getting ready for super bowl 50 that kicks off in about 36 hours or so. one thing we are talking about they could be a big problem. counterfeit tickets. that is coming up. myra: that would be a problem. 46 degrees temperature right now. what is it like here in the upstate? pamela: about 20 degrees colder. it is chilly this morning. it is pretty. take a look at our spartanburg skycam. you can see some pink in the distance. we are going to have a beautiful day. there will be clouds in and out but it will be nice and drive. we are not too far from an average for the high today. 28 this morning. a very chilly start with a light northerly wind. your view from our skycam a little hazy this morning. no reports of any dense fog. not much low-level moisture at all. from this view it looks a little hazy.

about the cap man, a big fan now able to come to the super bowl. myra: can't wait to meet him. many people are making from the wagers on who will win the big game. that includes the mayors of charlotte in denver. they have a couple of wages going on. wagers going in. they involves craft beer, local cuisine, and wearing the o oer team's jersey and posting a photo on social media. if the carolina panthers lose, charlotte mayor jennifer roberts will send barbecue to denver mayor michael hancock. and if denver loses, colorado bison will be coming to the queen city. one north carolina man has seen his fair share of super bowls. but he hasn't watched them from the stands or from the huddle. gerry austin has spent three super bowls as an official. he was an nfl official for over two decades. he says he will be watching the game on sunday but he watches football a little differently than the rest of us. >> i look at the officials. i watch officials, their position, and how they're moving

myra: to commitment 2016 now. we are fewer than 3 days away from the new hampshire primary. candidates are gearing up their campaigns and holding rallies all across the granite state trying to win over voters. the candidates are spending every single second they can trying to get their message out in new hampshire. a new poll out this friday shows that senator bernie sanders seems to be connecting with people. not just in the granite state and but across the country. in fact, the survey shows hillary clinton and sanders are you connect. she held a slim two-point advantage of this 11% of voters point. say they are still undecided. on the republican side, the same survey found that marco rubio is the strongest candidate to win the november general election. but for the primary trump stills leads the gop pack with 31%. followed by ted cruz with 22%.

9% of the voters say they're still undecided. republican candidates will meet tonight for ththr final debate before the new hampshire primary. donald trump, senators ted cruz, marco rubio and dr. ben carson. former governor jeb bush and governors chris christie and john kasich, will be there as well. carly fiorina and former governor jim gilmore did not meet the criteria for this debate. donald trump came back to south carolina. he interrupted his busy campaign schedule in new hampshire to campaign in the palmetto state on thousands of people packed friday. the florence civic center. trump is the front-runner ahead of tuesday's new hampshire primary. but all eyes will on the south carolina primaries. pundits say south carolina is the political gateway to the south. several upcoming campaign visits to take note of. donald trump will visit the upstate next week. he has a rally at the ted garrison arena in pendleton on wednesday. doors open at 5:00 and the event starts at 7:00.

to reserve a ticket online. on the democratic side, hillary clinton's daughter chelsea will make her first campaign swing through the palmetto state. chelsea will attend women for hillary events later today in the following places. winthrop university y rock hill, converse college in spartanburg, and clemson. north carolina governor pat mccrory is even using the panthers' success to help push for re-election. his first television commercial of the campaign season features narration by mccrory about lowering the unemployment rate, tax and teacher pay changes. it closes with mccrory playing football and saying keep pounding panthers. the governor plans to attend tomorrow's game. still to come, we check back in with wyff news 4's geoff hart who is outside of levi stadium. ricardo: the men's teams are back on the road saturday.

a hazy shot of i-85 and 385. beautiful this morning. a nice day. a slow warm-up. we write in the freezing mark in greenville. it's a cool one but our air mass still very dry. dew point temperatures in the teens. we will be changing that in the coming days with more moisture coming in. only 20 and franklin. asheville at 23. 26 at lawrence and greenwood is about 10 degrees colder this morning then you are yesterday morning. our winds have been fairly light, less than 10 but still out of the north. those will be shifting and more out of the northwest in the coming days. that is when the real cold starts to move in. live super doppler four hd. high and dry. clouds will stream by from time today today. you have already seen some come through. we are watching an area of low pressure developing.

and then don't even make it out of the 30's on tuesday. cold showers possible for us in the upstate monday and tuesday. en we do have a good chance of snow across the mountains for the next few days. we want you to pay attention to wednesday morning, thursday morning. we are talking biting cold and pretty windy. we could even has an windchill advisories in the mountains. myra: thank you. by now we've heard many sports analysts weigh in on who they think will win the super bowl. but what about what elephants think? those elephants are in greenville for the ringling brothers barnum and bailey circus at the bon secours wellness arena. friday they doubled as super bowl experts and picked who they think will win the super bowl. and guess who they ended up picking? >> i was really happy kelly anne picked the panthers. i was crossing my fingers of course. kelly anne is so smart, elephants are the second smarted animal in the world. i knew she was going to pick the panthers.

underway in santa clara at levi's stadium, making sure everything is perfect when it's time with the lights shine over the panthers and the denver broncos. safety obviously a huge concern going in to this weekend. a massive security presence is in place. trained swat teams are on the ground, the coast guard in the bay, and 8 aircraft will be watching the skies above . one things security teams are watching extra close for are drones. they are not allowed anywhere within 32 miles of the stadium. back here in the upstate, students in spartanburg met four men who know exactly what the panthers are going through right now. they'll play in the super bowl. they all graduated from spartanburg school district seven. in their honor, spartanburg high got 4 golden footballs as part of the nfl's super bowl high school honor roll program. among the former players was stephen davis who played in the super bowl with the panthers in 2004. he says your hometown support is very important to the team. >> it makes a player proud to

pretty cold. 28 degrees. 10 degrees colder than this time yesterday. we are bringing you some breaking news as well. you can see a bit of a breeze with that smoke blowing away. myra will be giving you more details in the coming up. freezing in greenville at 32 this morning. we are finding temperatures mainly only in the 20's in western north carolina. 21 in franklin to 27 in hendersonville. rutherfordton at 24. the breeze has been out of the northeast, mainly just 5-10. that will be the case through much of the day today. tomorrow the winds shift in will strengthen across the mountains. count on that through the day tomorrow. and then colder air to follow. we are dry for now. the dew point temperatures are in the teens. really dry air mass but still in the upper levels we are getting

that will be the case through the day today. we are watching with great interest a rapidly developing system out over the atlantic. it is going to turn it into a very rainy day along the south carolina coast line if you are traveling that way. it is going to travel to the north where it is cold enough that it will become some snow. the other big story with you don't see on the map yet is bitterly cold air coming down. we will get a bigdip -- we will get a big dip in the jet stream and i will open the way for cold air to come our way. not very cold around the bay area. 46 so geoff has been a little bit chilly this morning. at noon today with a few more clouds around. they will be in and out as the day goes on. by tonight pockets of heavy rain with that system out over the atlantic.
