the other way when tax fraud is happening. claims of corruption in prince george's county began at the top when the county executive jack johnson was charged with taking prescribes. nine others including three police officers have been indicted in two different scams. the first involves a howard county who owns three liquor stores. they sell cigarettes and alcohol without paying the appropriate taxes and that they were helped by a corporate in the prince george's county police department. armrick have been implicated. dozens of bank accounts, cars and property must be surrendered. including the $3.1 million home in clarksville. the second set of suspects include officer simick who was selling cocaine. >> these individuals are bad people that need to go away. it's going to impact us and this will kick you in the gut. >> reporter: jack johnson maintains his innocence. after the fbi affidavit outlined a conversation between him and his wife leslie about a $100,000 check from a developer. he says tear it up. that's the only thing you need to do. he refers to $80,000 in cash: he says put it

heartbreaking story. in prince george's county, police were just beginning their investigation. as they do, life inside this home is slowly being released. it's a horrifying crime that happened tuesday in fort washington. police were called to the home of the toddler after the girl's foster father called 911. she was taken to an area hospital where she was pronounced dead. >> an autopsy confirmed the child died of blunt force trauma. >> reporter: the child has been identified. in a twist, a 12-year-old boy living in the home with her has been charged with second degree murder accused of beating her to death. >> probable cause to charge the boy based on interviews conducted with the family. >> reporter: the boy has been remanded to the youth facility in prince george's county. >> the 2-year-old was a foster child and the 12-year-old was a biological child of this family. >> reporter: prince george's county police say thereby discussions whether or not this 12-year-old boy could be charged as an adult. since he's a minor, his name is not being released. >> two other biological childr
