district, southeastern montgomery, western prince george's, falls church, arlington, charles and northwestern st. mary's counties you have flash flood warnings physical 12:30. this has had a great impact on -- until 12:30. this has had a great impact on the region and with more rain coming down from our south we have to watch the next several hours. have to show you these rain totals doppler estimates but charles county has been clobbered with 15.7 inches of rain estimated. we have seen ground truth of that. had a call of alexandria, 11 inches reported by monica peek. near the london town area 10 inches, around alexandria again doppler estimates 11.6 inches. we slide into montgomery county heavy rain up there 6 to 8 inches and on up to howard, baltimore, prince george's county 9 and 10-inch rain amounts. this is staggering in a twoen day period and a flash flood -- in a two-day period and a flash flood watch remains until 2 a.m. for the entire area. we'll keep an eye on what's coming out of the south, but needless to say east of 95 fredericksburg south it's coming up in that dire

here on the campus of george mason, this is what they're doing about this particular issue, they're sending out these letters and giving them to the students explaining what's in this drink, how dangerous it is and what kind of impact it can have on a student if they drink it. >> like so far, we haven't had any incidences at all, but we're trying to be proactive as we can to give people a head's up and warn them of the potential dangers. >> everyone knows that caffeine is an upper and alcohol is a depressant so they're not good for each other. it has all the adrenalin in it and also the alcohol and that can be really bad. >> reporter: now, also tonight, we spoke with fusion, the company, to get reaction on this story and an e-mail from a spokesperson, they say that people have safely mixed and consumed alcohol and caffeine products for years. for loco has roughly the same amount of alcohol content as some beers, wine and far less alcohol by volume than hard liquor. a can of one of our loco has tf caffeine as a tall starbucks coffee. we're disappointed by recent banns of our product.

arlington too. it's coming up the river right along # 6 here, down -- 66 here down towards george washington parkway. farther back down into arlington. this is pretty much all we see right now, at least in the area on the radar. that's some fairly heavy rain. maybe a little bit of lightning and thunder too. i haven't seen any lightning but it looks suspiciously like thunderstorm activity to me on the radar. a little bit more activity coming down into fredricksburg, too. there's still a cold front back out to the west. so overnight tonight there is at least still a chance for some showers, possibly some thunderstorms but i think as we start getting into the overnight, it's going to transition out of thunderstorms into just some showers but it doesn't look like t this point we're going to get whole lot of rain out of this, especially the way it's evaporating right now. we desperately need the rain. we showed this yesterday, too. below two inches just in june at reagan. almost four inches below normal for dulles and bwi two and a half inches below normal. again this is just since jun
