district, southeastern montgomery, western prince george's, falls church, arlington, charles and northwestern st. mary's counties you have flash flood warnings physical 12:30. this has had a great impact on -- until 12:30. this has had a great impact on the region and with more rain coming down from our south we have to watch the next several hours. have to show you these rain totals doppler estimates but charles county has been clobbered with 15.7 inches of rain estimated. we have seen ground truth of that. had a call of alexandria, 11 inches reported by monica peek. near the london town area 10 inches, around alexandria again doppler estimates 11.6 inches. we slide into montgomery county heavy rain up there 6 to 8 inches and on up to howard, baltimore, prince george's county 9 and 10-inch rain amounts. this is staggering in a twoen day period and a flash flood -- in a two-day period and a flash flood watch remains until 2 a.m. for the entire area. we'll keep an eye on what's coming out of the south, but needless to say east of 95 fredericksburg south it's coming up in that dire

on fox 5, two prince george's county police officers are under investigation in charles county for allegedly assaulting a teen-ager. the officers were off-duty at the time but in a marked cruiser when they allegedly stopped three teens in a waldorf neighborhood. fox 5's paul wagner has the story. >> reporter: this is where it started in this house on waldorf where the teens say they were invited for a memorial day picnic. as the afternoon turned to evening the teens told investigators the homeowner accused them of taking items from the house and searched one of the teens. the three left. about 20 minutes after the homeowner searched one of the teens the three arrived in this neighborhood, two on bikes, one on foot. as the off-duty officers approached, one of the teens ran. a second one was detained by one of the officers and the third teen who we're calling j.l. arrived in the 3000 block of miranda place where he says the officer shouted stop or i'll shoot you in the back. j.l. said he sunk to his knees and the officer tackles him. a man who says he witnessed the incident agreed to

fate after being convicted in a violent attack in a prince george's county daycare center. today a judge sentenced 20-year- old mickel young. the footage played a big role in his sentencing. fox 5's john henrehan has details. >> reporter: the a -- assailant, mickel young, came into the family daycare center last april seeking to use a telephone. security guard jalen farmer said no and the assailant takes a couple swings at him. the guard gets a baseball bat. the intruder then begins throwing things and attacks a woman at the reception desk. the security guard still with the bat retreats down a hallway and mickel young starts pounding on the glass windows and doors of classrooms while panicked teachers begin calling 911. the two men fight violently and the intruder gains control and severely beats the teenaged guard who ultimately loses vision in his right eye. mickel young uses the bat in the words of the judge to terrorize everyone in the building. the assailant's sister begged the court for mercy saying her brother's use of drugs was the real problem. >> my brother is a good huma

warning and it includes a sliver of prince georges county, northeastern charles and northwestern st. mary's county. within the last short while, and i'm talking the last five or six minutes, we lost that signature that we got on radar, that red ring that indicates the rotation in the center of the storm. there is a lot of lightning in this region moving to the northeast at 30. i'll take you to the sentinel radar because we can spot light the areas within that region that need to be watched. hughsville, you are close to the center of that circulation. if you live anywhere within that polygon, i would be watching this. it is likely producing hail. around 10:12, we think it will be near the community of malcolm, 10:18 near army, 10:18 near horse head and bald eagle 11:26. so we'll continue to watch that . maybe we can see some of the streets showing up not too far from here, including woodville road. i also wanted to mention in addition to our tornado warning, again, which goes for another 10 minutes or so, we're going to watch that, we have a number of flash-flood warnings and these a

allegedly threatening a circuit court judge. the prince georges county state's attorney's office confirms the charges to fox 5. 16-year-old garrett bailey is being charged as an adult with solicitation to commit first- degree murder and weapon's charges. fox 5s audrey barnes spoke with the judge tonight about the threat on his life or alleged threat. she's in the newsroom with more. audrey, good evening. >> reporter: well, judge the judge said an official from the prince georges county sheriff's office told him about the threats against him. the investigation is still active at this time. it didn't take us long to find out what the teenager may have said about the judge. incredibly, some of the threats are still on his twitter account. prince georges county's seventh circuit court judge herman c. dawson has been on the bench since 1988. he's the coordinator of all juvenile cases. fox 5 news learned that one of the juveniles who may have been in the judge's courtroom earlier this month threatened to kill him. according to court documents and the state's attorney's office, 16-year-old garre
