the murder of a maryland store owner. jummy olabanji is live at prince george's county police headquarters with the news. >> police had been investigating this arson/homicides since april. they asked the community to come forth with tips to help investigators. we have learned an arrest has been made in the murder, richard nam. we have video from 2002 when he spoke with abc 7 news after the murder of his niece. that woman was killed inside the family store as well as another family member wounded in the attempted robbery. then almost a decade later in april, the store owner himself was shot and killed. 69-year-old richard nam was found murdered in his store after firefighters extinguished and intentionally set fire in the store. they believe he may have been a victim of robbery at the time and that the fire was done to cover up the murder. we spoke with customers in april and they were shocked, saying that he was a quiet and generous man. if the press conference is scheduled at prince george county police headquarters at 11:00 this morning. we will have an update on abc 7 news
