george's county is looking into what caused a garage fire. flames spread to a home along robert lewis avenue. no one was hurt. >> a middle school students in waldorf, maryland, has been arrested, accused of bringing a gun to school. police found the weapon yesterday at mattawoman middle school. john gonzalez at the latest developments. >> [no audio] parents did receive a letter yesterday afternoon stating that a student at the middle school did bring a gun into the school yesterday morning. police said they received a tip through their crime solvers program. they quickly searched and found the unloaded handgun inside the students's locker. the 15-year-old boy told the sheriff's office than he did bring the gun from home with the intention of selling it after school. it is still not clear who the gun belonged to. the student was taken out of the school and arrested, possession of a deadly weapon. the also faces expulsion from school. mattawoman middle school sits on one of these campuses where a high school and the elementary school and our next door. reporting live in charles county,
