ran away. a similar attack happened near george wyth state park in july. police are yet to make an arrest in either case. a pair of former iowa prison guards plead guilty to drug charges today... both men were charged with possession of marijuana. they were arrested as part of an investigation intro drugs and cellphones being smuggled into the anamosa state penitentiary. two other former guards face federal charges... and at least nine employees have been fired or resigned. tomorrow is get out of jail free day for thousands of federal prisoners across the country... the u-s justice department plans to release 6-thousand non-violent drug offenders. they were all sentenced under what the justices department says are outdated drug laws from the 19-80's and 90's. the release is also due to jail overcrowding.. and will include about 150-iowans. 51:26-51:39 we hope that these folks during their time in prison that they did take advantage of the programs that were offered them and they're not going to reoffend. i wouldn't be anymore concerned about this than i would any other prisoner rel
