george's view which we think the u.s. economy is in strong enough shape and well above crisis levels to raise rates in september. we would feel better -- even the markets would feel better if they would move forward and raise 25 basis points, get them off zero and give them the ability to back down if things do get to a crisis level again, which we don't think so, by the way. but we think the fed really needs to raise rates. it would send a strong signal of strength to u.s. investors that they're trying to buy this volatility despite china. >> well, we got better than expected numbers from the gdp revision for second quarter, folks. gdp is growing at 3.7%. not what had been looked at earlier. i mean that's a good move here. the expectation was about 3.3%. the previous print was 2.3 -- we got 3.7% and lower than expected first time jobless claims. that is a number you want to see low. so do you look forward to the time where we can move from these emergency low rates, dan? >> we do. we think there's a number of varies in the economy that are really being hurt by 0% interest rates. fin
