arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a teenage student. george simons was head of the concept school, private school in thorn berry township. the 63 year old accused of having inapropriate contact with a boy starting last spring and continuing until winter when the boy was between 14 and 15 years of age. police are concerned that there could be other victims. >>> hot and humid day making it tough to be outside. toddler on staten island. fleischer live on the st. george section with this. tim. >>reporter: david, at this noon hour, we are awaiting for the suspect, that babysitter to be walked from the 120th precinct. after that she is expected to be arraigned on multiple charges in this baby's tragic death. 31-year-old gloria fields as seen in these facebook pictures was charged with murder, multiple counts of assault, aggravated sex abuse and child endangerment charges in the brutal murder of 16-month-old anthony delgado. the baby an autopsy revealed died of blunt force trauma to his head and body. he was discovered unconscious and unresponsive sunday by his grandmother here on the third floor of this apartment building in the park hill section of staten island. the child's mother had left him with fields over the weekend. police are also expanding their investigation. >> we found that the babysitter had taken the child with her boyfriend to mat manhattan and we're getting video there of exactly her whereabouts there. >>reporter: a.c.s. officials have also said we are investigating the circumsta

the george washington bridge at noontime. of course the little red lighthouse, it's right there. you can see it anytime. here we go. we're looking at a temperature here at noontime of 40 degrees. we started the day at 54. you know, i think at 4:00 a.m., maybe 3:00 a.m., it's 56, that will tap out as the high temperature. the humidity dry at 31%. look at the winds northwest at 13 gusting to 35. it's really windy out there. and that's just the park readings and they're always low. the pressure has been rising. so that's way below our mark of 30.00 which is fair weather. yesterday's high was 52. the normal is 45, and the rainfall that we had this morning just over.10. we're going to have a beautiful sunset at 6:30. blustery with falling temperatures today continuing through the afternoon despite sunshine. snow arrives friday morning and there could be a coating around the city to a few inches to the south. that's where most of that system is going to go. an the sun returns on saturday with some wet snow possible on sunday morning. we're looking at 41s wild from riverside over to whitest

homes in st. george will be demolished this >> we are live at the scene now with more. >> reporter: well, the fire here in the st. george section of staten island was so consuming, so massive, it has left 42 people, half of them children, now homeless. the devastating blaze broke out around 6:00 last night and quickly spread to neighboring homes and six alarms. raging flames. two multi-family homes were completely destroyed. fiver other buildings were damaged. city officials will assess how many of those buildings will have to be torn down. firefighters say heavy smoke in the street was an obstacle in fighting the blaze. a spoke to a mother of four who believes the fire started in her building in the apartment above hers. she was able to escape with her four young children and their birth certificates but all photoses, all destroyed. >> i don't understand. i've never been through a fire in my life. and in a matter of seconds to lose everything you own is crazy. >> reporter: we're told 20 firefighters and three civilians were injured. one of those civilians in serious condition, all
