happened on thursday in prince george's county. however, we're still waiting for charges to be filed for the additional shootings that happened friday here in montgomery county. let me have you take a look at this surveillance video from a shopping center in aspen hill that shows is the dramatic take-down of that suspect, who was wanted in connection with a deadly shooting spree here in maryland over the course of nearly 24 hours. we're told a montgomery county tactical team spotted him first having lunch's at a boston market. then at a duncan donuts. all in the area of one of the shootings when that suspect made a may of for his car the tactical team followed, slamming their vehicles into his, pinning him in place and then taking him into custody. let me take you through a little bit of a timeline. it all started thursday in prince george's county after police say the suspect 62-year-old eulalio tordil allegedly shot and killed his estranged wife in front of their daughter, according to what witnesses told that happened in the parking lot of high point high school. for nearly 24 hours a

, from today through april 29th and buses will replace trains between greenbelt and prince george's plaza and two stations will be closed, greenbelt and college park. free shuttle buses will run between greenbelt and prince george's plaza and they stop at college park. now, green line trains will run close to regular service everywhere else on the line. about every six to eight minutes. metro says yellow rush plus trains will not operate during this time. now, phase two is from april 30th through may 14th and the work zone will be shortened a bit between greenbelt and college park only. as a result, though, the greenbelt station will remain closed again with shuttle buses operating instead of those trains and the once again, metro says yellow rush plus will not operate during phase two, either, and this, of course, will cause trickling delays and in effect customers in various ways on the green line as well as the yellow line so for a complete list of all of the, effects that this work will cause you can check fox5d.c.com or metro's web site. live in greenbelt, alexandria limon. i'l

apparently initially involved in some type of hit-and-run accident on george washington memorial parkway near slater's way last night. that's when the driver apparently left the scene leading to this police chase. now, the suspect again ended up crashing near this intersection in a residential area of alexandria -- the alexandria section of fairfax county and then overturning in a ditch. now, again, the suspect was shot by police officers and he is in critical condition. here's what police had to say about the circumstances that unfolded. >> officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop on that vehicle and the driver led officers along with fairfax county police in a vehicle pursuit that culminated at fort hunt road and alexandria avenue. officers were not injured. and despite rumors that came out on social media, officers were not shot at. >> being sure to reiterate and debunk some social media rumors about the shooting saying that the suspect did not fire shots at police. they're still investigating exactly what prompted police officers to fire shots at the suspect. annie, back
