seeing there now, john? >> good morning. at this hour, prince george's county confirming a police-involved shooting. there is a massive crime seen in the calverton section of prince georges county. state police assisting prince georges police with this. forensic trucks, evidence vans, lining the street. this is the 3800 block of twin lakes drive. a large apartment complex. it appears police and detectives are focusing their efforts on the tree line just beyond a dog park. you see the fenced-in area, it appears that's where police are spending a lot of their time. here to talk to us more, twig -- prince georges spokesperson. >> a caller report as woman is screaming, get off me. our spers arrive within one minute. they fiend a woman who appears to be injured and see a man running from the scene. there is a short foot chase, a confrontation between our officer and this suspect. our officer discharged his weapon. the male suspect shot on killed. our officer, who is a seven-year veteran is not injured. we have this large crime scene. our forensic investigators are pouring over this sce

back to news. >> we begin with a busy night for emergency crews and prince george's county. they try to save a teenaged male from the water. there were not successful. this happened on old stagecoach road in laurel. john gonzalez is there with what he has learned so far. >> prince george's county investigators will be back out here at the willow lake apartments later this morning to try to figure out what went wrong. the pond is just beyond those trees. water rescue teams searched for the teenage boy nearly two hours last night. he was reported missing around 8:45 last seen in the apartment complex. witnesses tell police the young victim went under water and never came back up. search and rescue used boats and helicopters with infrared equipment and a high-powered lights. 80 minutes later he was found under the bonds which is about four feet deep. cpr was performed at the scene. he was then rushed to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead. the exact age and identity of the boy has not been released. we understand investigators will be back out here to try to figure out exactl

job. police in prince george's county are looking for the gunman who attacked the domino's pizza driver. >> it happened before 9:00 last night in the 6800 block of seat pleasant drive. john gonzales joins us from police headquarters with the latest on the investigation. >> good morning. the residents surged multiple gunshots. he was a delivery man for domino's pizza. he was a residenta resident of seat pleasant drive found him on the ground. police believe the man was shot at least one time. even though it is early, there's no official motive, it appears prince george's county police are leaning toward robbery. the gunman is still on the loose. as happens late last night at around 8:30. the third murder in the past four days in prince george's county. we had a spike in homicides early this year and that did seem to die down a little, but now this is at least the 23rd homicide in prince george's county. this man was simply delivering pizzas in the area when he was gunned down. john gonzales, abc 7 news. >>> as nato takes control of operations in libya, president obama is preparing

to you. >> let's get more on that breaking news from prince george's county. three people are dead after an ambulance and suv collide. we are live now on the ticket 600 block of marlborough plight. >> i want to give you an idea of exactly what happened here on a marlboro pike. an ambulance was responding to a call when suv is traveling in the same lane was traveling eastbound. according to the video, you can see the suv going in a high rate of speed. it is an extremely tragic accident. when the ambulance all the suv, they immediately swerved to avoid a head-on collision. unfortunately, the suv sideswiped the ambulance. the suv eventually rolled through a brick wall and a utility pole. three men inside the suv were pronounced dead on the same. two medics were inside the in dallas. they were taken to the hospital. they are now out. we want to let you know that this portion of marlboro pike between silver spring road and brooks drive will be closed for some time. they -- there are still accident reconstruction is on the scene trying to figure out exactly what happened as far as whethe

>> we are following a home invasion near the campus of george mason university. police are looking for two men who burst into a home. john gonzalez and is live. >> this neighborhood is across the street from george mason university. off-campus housing for many of the students. it is unclear if the victims inside the house are students. we can tell you they are 19 and 20 years old. police are calling this a home invasion. armed men broke into a town house, threatened the residents and made out with a number of electronics at 11:00 last night. police used a helicopter to search for the suspects but no arrests this morning. it does not appear that the victims were physically harmed. >> we want to get a look at traffic and weather. we will get to an atom in a moment and let's start with lisa baden. >> no one will be disappointed by our look at traffic. we are in good shape on 95 between richmond and baltimore. nothing complicated between annapolis and new york ave. the dulles toll road. we will go to a couple pictures. this is where they melt together. good in and out of the district.

news. this is from prince george's county. a fire at a county firehouse. >> the closest stations lost its fourth career staffing. matt brock has the details. >> to show you the fire station behind me. people are working inside. it is ok now. not so much at about 2:30 this morning. people are worried that this is a sign of things to come. smoke and flames poured out of an engine. volunteers whoere there doing prep work were able to move some equipment before it got too bad. the first fire company called in to help was the capitol heights station. only just this weekend there were bumps down to volunteer stuffing. we're told the capitol heights group never made it here. so many told us they are concerned about reduced staff and that it could lead to disaster. the fire chief at prince george's counties said he is dealing with $110 million budget, that is $2 million less than last year. he has had to make these changes in staffing in certain stations and making some station's specialty stations. he said no new hires until june of 2010. the guys working here get no overtime. matt broc

this morning, two prince george's county police officers are being punished for their role in the video. you saw it first on abc 7. both are serving suspension while the department conducts an internal investigation into brutality claims. this morning we are learning new details about who is officers are. brianne carter is in college park with details. >> good morning. according to the police department, they have identified all the officers involved in the video. so far, two police officers have been suspended. more suspensions may be forthcoming. police said all of the officers involved in the beating at the university of maryland are seen in the video and have now been identified by the department. officer sean mcaleavey was suspended and stripped of his duties. this video tells a different story than the officer . the officer had said the a victim was injured by the horse. people we spoke with in college park say identifying the officers is a good first step. >> so they can take responsibility for what they did. >> more suspensions could be forthcoming. this is excessive use of forc
