prince george's county police officer killed in the line of duty. brianne carter with more on the bill work -- viewing for officer adrian morris. >> an emotional day expected today for the viewing of officer adrian morris who died in the line of duty last week. the 24-year-old, police officer for two years was chasing two suspects down interstate 95 last week when his car reared off the road and flipped and he died on the scene. now the two men who allegedly stole a car are now in police custody. as for the viewing later today it is expected to happen between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 this afternoon and then 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. here in beltsville and the funeral will be held at 9:00 tomorrow morning in mitchellvile. thousands from across the state and police officers are expected to be in attendance. because of that the mother could be traffic delays in the area here in belts bill and also mitchellville, and rolling road closures. certainly an emotional day as many begin to say their final farewell. brianne carter, abc 7 news. >> back to school for a handful of counties. public-sch

killed outside the southern avenue station in prince george's county. that's where brianne carter is this morning with the latest update. >> good morning. this is still an active investigation. authorities tell us it will take time to determine what led to the shooting the left one man dead. service has resumed at this station. it was shut down temporarily last night for a little while as authorities were here. they got the call around 9:30 last night. that's when they say suspect came out and opened fire killing a man who was sitting inside a bus bay, a man in his 40's. suspect that authorities are looking for is a black man in his 20s, last seen wearing a black hoodie and jeans with a full beard. the station was open and it is believed there were witnesses w ho may have information about this. they're asking those individuals to contact police if they do have any more information. this morning the station is back open. service has resumed. reporting live, brianne carter, abc 7 news. >> there was a violent confrontation as protestors tried to stop a northeast d.c. woman from losing

much. one to get to some breaking news we have been following all morning long, in prince george's county. but the barricades of tuition in adelphi. brianne carter is on the scene with developments -- barricade situation. >> we are waiting to get an update from prince george's county police. if you look behind me we just saw this armored vehicle come out from the apartment complex where this is all taking place. at this point, still waiting to get an update from police. just moments ago we saw an ambulance leave the scene at this point as well. this all began at 10:30 p.m. last night. authorities tell us you put this marshals came to this apartment complex to serve a warrant. prince george's county police were called in to assist. the suspect was inside. we do not know if the suspect was still inside the apartment or not. again, we are hoping to get an update from police in just a matter of minutes and find out exactly what development, if any, and happened. but again, we have started to see some of the vehicles that were down there further in the area of the apartment complex star

expected today in the decision of prince george's police officers beating a student. >> john gonzales has more. >> there is that minute-long video. it will be interesting to see how much of a factor this video will play into this trial. the two prince george's county police of us will be on trial accused of severely beating a university of maryland student in march. of 2010 during a rowdy celebration. the case was very publicized after the video was taken from a dorm room window. it appeared to show the incident involving the officers in full riot gear and batons with some of them on horses. the 21-year-old was beaten after several of the students stormed the streets every pretty big win by the university of maryland over duke basketball. 28 people, some of them students, were arrested that night. the attorney has argued that his client was dancing down the street when officers slammed him against a wall bear the student sustained several serious injuries that night. many of the charges were dropped including the ones against the students. the officers were suspended weeks after the i

investigating a shooting in prince george's county. a man was shot 12:15 this morning on 100th avenue in lanham. he was taken to the hospital we don't know his condition. police are trying to determine if this was a home invasion. they're looking for two suspects who fled on foot. a united airlines pilot is recovering in the hospital this morning after suffering a heart attack mid flight. flight 1603 was scheduled to land in seattle but diverted to boise, idaho. when the plane landed paramedics boarded the plane to take the pilot to the hospital. passengers waited until a new pilot flew in from san francisco. >> 6:35 is your time and we're following some new developments in the deadly attack in that mall in kenya. overnight investigators recovered a vehicle they believe the terrorists used. but they're not releasing too many details this morning. fbi agents along with investigators from great britain, canada and germany are now in kenya. at least 67 people were killed when members of the somalian militant group al-shabaab stormed the westgate mall last weekend. >> they'll team up for national g
