protests all around the country after the not guilty verdict in the george zimmerman murder trial. and demonstrations are getting underway tonight in the bay area. >>> good evening. chopper 5 is over oakland right now where a rally began just over an hour ago. you can see a few hundred people have begun marking. no reports of any problems. let's go down to the ground. what's it like out there? >> reporter: well, this is the remnant of that crowd that gathered here a short while ago at the plaza. small crowd here right now as you mentioned. the rest of the crowd is on the move. they gathered here at city hall in a peaceful demonstration. many of them long time members of communities around the bay area. they say they are angry about what they believe is an injustice. some of these folks are blurry eyed from some of the craziness into the early morning hours. the majority of these protestors were peaceful. here's how oakland mayor put it in a statement this afternoon. a small group quote, dishonored the memory of trayvon martin by engaging in violent activities that hurt our growing econ
