look at oracle if needed. >>> george rask has the traffic report. >> thanks, kenny. we have been talking about a major problem on the nimitz nimitz. if that's your freeway you will be impacted by it especially through hayward, san leandro and even coming out of oakland. our big rig accident southbound 880 at "a" street still blocks two lanes on the southbound side two lanes on the northbound side and it's going to take some time for the chp to get it off-loaded. look at the delays coming out of oakland and coming northbound out of union city. 238 is backed up. big rigs have been authorized to use interstate 580. 580 is slower than it should be for a tried with our accident at grant line road in the westbound direction. and your bay bridge ride backed up with a 17-minute commute time out of the maze westbound. that nimitz freeway drive from oakland to fremont should be about 23 minutes, now 73 minutes pack your patience. >> oh, my gosh. good heavens. traffic master george rask, let me say again, so good to see you here this morning! thank you. >> thank you. >>> we have got mostly

to victims' families. >>> it is 6:02 right now. let's check the morning commute. george, how's it looking? >> it's been a very quiet ride this morning, michelle. we have not tracked any major incidents. and with us since the very early-morning hours, sadly still tying up the ride here in the hills along sky line boulevard, is what sadly turned out to be a fatal accident on skyline boulevard north of page mill road perhaps by about a mile. they are still waiting for the coroner at the scene here. so it's going to be busy. we are getting a little busier at the bay bridge with the metering lights active for a little over 35 minutes now. the backup reaches to the west grand approach to the bridge so the drive times have stayed under 20 minutes out of the maze. on a typical day on the san mateo bridge 6:30 things start to back up, 14 minutes into foster city into hayward and the marin ride is 15 minutes out of downtown san rafael heading down and 580 heading down toward the toll plaza here. a pretty morning. tracking your ride through the south bay we are still looking at great conditi
