, may 12, 2010. right now in prince george's county police search for suspects after a man shot and killed overnight in a house in upper marlboro on queen ann bridge road south. neighbors are saying they noticed trouble in the home before. this w megan mcgrath joins us with the latest. >> reporter: bash rbara this is isolated road, and the house where the murder happened up the driveway, curves around to the right, the home is not visible from queen ann bridge road itself. you have to go up around the driveway, curve around and it's at end of the driveway in an isolated section. police are not releasing a lot of detail about what happened but say it appears to be a robbery that several suspects broke into the home on queen ann bridge road around midnight, shots were fired, and a man fatally shot, found dead inside that home. earlier this morning, investigators returned here to the scene. they had with them several family members who live in that home, including a number of children, and actually family members, including the children, went inside the home for a while along with inve

prince george's, maryland. one person in custody in connection with a high-speed chase that ended with an officer dying. the pursuit killed 23-year-old officer adrian morris who was ejected from his police cruiser. tracee wilkins joins us live in police headquarters and has more for us now. tracee? >> prince george's police are not confirming they have a suspect in custody yet but d.c. police are confirming that they do. this is a multi-jurisdictional investigation here. according to d.c. police, one of their police officers spotted the suspect's vehicle around 3:00 this morning in the 400 block of st. louis street in southeast. a potential suspect was taken into custody and now being held in d.c. this follows the tragic death of 23-year-old officer adrian morris. morris had been a prince george's county police officer for two ask a half years but known to the department since he was a teenager. he was a former member of the prince george's explorers. his fellow officers in beltsville station watched this young man grow up and are now dealing with his tragic death. the second offi

. breaking news in prince george's county. police are at fairmont heights high school, investigating a stabbing involving a student. the school is in the 1400 block of nye street in capital heights. rescuers took one teen to the hospital. news4's megan mcgrath joins us live at the school now. megan, can you tell us what happened out there? >> reporter: well barbara, yes, there was some sort of a stabbing here this morning. students reported for class, i should mention that the students here at fairmont high have been held in their classrooms ever since this happened. and we've actually seen several parents arrive here at the school to pick up their children. they heard what happened and they wanted to get their children to make sure they're safe. this happened as students were arriving here at school this morning. kids we spoke to say that there was some kind of back-and-forth on twitter yesterday, involving the girls involved with the stabbing. that there was some sort of trash talk that made tempers flare. it aapparently turned into the argument inside the school and things heated.

. authorities have shut down a prominent prince georges county continue funeral home because of what they found in a nearby garage. tracy wilkins has details. >> reporter: the owner says that this business was started by his grandfather. he says that he's been in it since he was a 16-year-old kid. he also is he that last month he made a terrible mistake. since 1914, the chambers funeral home has been in operation. in 1983, the family added a crematory to the business. but now their operation has been stopped by the state after a shocking discovery. >> we are very sorry for this situation that has occurred. and we'll keep praying very hard that we can get ourselves out of this. >> during a surprise inspection of the facility, a state inspector was shocked to find # 4 bodies in a pile in a refrigerated section of the garage where the crematory is held. the owner says the bodies were cadavers and part of a contractual agreement with georgetown medical school. >> we have completed the agreement that we entered with the medical school and we made a slight error of judgment and we're trying to

prince george's county in 2010 is going to spend the rest of his life behind bars. news4's tracee wilkins is live outside the courthouse with more on the sentence just handed down. tracee, good morning. >> reporter: good morning, barb raxt the u.s. state's attorney says this sman who is lawless, who has never demonstrated any respect for the law. and should not be shown any more leniency underneath the law. so after this trial, this morning, they did decide to go ahead and give serial williams the life without the possibility of parole. he will be going to prison for the rest of his life. for the murder of trooper brown, who was killed in june of 2010. now there are a couple of other details that came out here as they were doing the sentencing. first of all, it came out that the reason that this man was thrown out of an appleby's in june of 2010 was because he had apparently urinated on another one of the customer there is and was being disruptive. well he was thrown out. today, we heard from trooper brown's -- partner, who said that when he came out of the bar, trooper brown deci
