stun ago nouns meant from the men representing george zimmerman, so far have we heard of anyone stepping forward saying they're his attorneys now or is there silence on that end? >> it was such a strange occurrence that took place there for a lot of reasons. one, just that the attorneys chose to make that announcement the way they did at a news conference and second of all, as one lawyer just point out to me a short time ago, they had lost contact with their client for about 24 hours, and this attorney was saying that is not a reason to panic, just 24 hours, but as you heard, the attorneys said that they had lost contact, they had never met him face-to-face, always been a matter of cell phone calls, text messages, e-mails, and when they just sort of stopped happening and there was the radio silence out there, they said in combination with the fact that the special prosecutor indicated to them that george zimmerman had reached directly out to the special prosecutor and florida f x as well as for several technical reason that is would happen in court, she did not talk directly to

following breaking news in the murder case against george zimmerman. preparations are underway for the hearing that will determine whether zimmerman will get bond in the trayvon martin shooting. now, that hearing is set for 9:00 tomorrow morning. it will, by the way, be the first time that the new judge will be overseeing this case. his name is kenneth lester. meanwhile, trayvon martin's parents are in tampa taking part in a panel discussion on that controversial stand your ground law that zimmerman may use as his defense. this comes as florida governor rick scott names the 15 members he's chosen for a task force to study possible changes to the law. nbc ae nbc's kerry joins me live. >> the judge did not put it on the docket. however, he contacted the defense attorney, mark o'mara, and he contacted the special prosecutor's office. he went up in the courthouse behind me in the judge's chambers. i don't know the specifics of what happened there on the record but when the defense attorney mark o'mara exited from a meeting of about 20 minutes or maybe even less, he said that they were

revoke the bond of george zimmerman after it is revealed that he actually received more than $200,000 in donations from supporters that weapon to his webb. during a hearg today, zimmerman's attorney said he wasn't made aware of that money until after zimmerman was released on bond. trayvon martin's family wants the bond revoked them say zimmerman and his family misled the court and said they didn't have any money for bond. kerry sanders joins me live. how did this come about that the judge would even ask about the funds? >> reporter: it is really after the fact and that's what has so many people on the trayvon martin side of this concerned. when george zimmerman was released from the court jail complex on monday, it was on $150,000 bond. and it appeared, even to his attorney, we understand, that they were scraping together the money to make this happen. that the family of george zimmerman had to, hisç parents had to take what is effectively a second mortgage on their home to reach that $150,000 bond. now this revelation. that he has raised more than $200,000. $204,000 on his website. t

george zimmerman, a gun he said that trayvon martin was reaching for before george zimmerman shot him and what he describes as self defense. according to reports released today, investigators on the grip of that gun, on the handle, found dna evidence clearly from george zimmerman and they say that they were absolutely able to rule out any dna from trayvon martin. so clearly he did not touch the handle of that gun. on the holster, there was dna found of three individuals, predominantly george zimmerman. the other two could not be determined on the trigger and the slide of the handgun there was insufficient evidence to determine any sort of dna profile. this is the stuff that either side can use to help their case or they can use the evidence a way that helps them. the prosecution might say that it shows that trayvon martin never touched that gun. the defense, however, would argue that that's not what zimmerman said. he said he was reaching for the gun so as i said at the outset it is interesting information and not likely to shake the case. tamron? >> mark potter live for us, thank you for
