investigation led police to nearby residence located at the intersection of n. george washington & wintergreen. officers negotiated with an armed subject for several hours. when officers made entry into the residence, five additional deceased bodies were located to include the suspect. all six of the deceased were related. it is believed the suspect killed family the investigation is thank you rico, will continue to check in with you as you find more details. now we'll get a check on the weather and traffic. jen lewis is keeping an eye out on any problems on the road. and pack an umbrella, meteorologist jeremy wheeler is tracking rain later toay. . mayor george wallace will be at langley's child development center this morning from nine to 11:30. his program is designed to improve reading skills of local hampton and newport news children from pre- school to first grade. mayor wallace has hosted his monthly book club since 2008 for more than four thousand preschool through first grade students. this morning we're working to learn how a child is doing after paramedics in crews say the three-year-old boy's family found him unconscious in a backyard fish pond. it happened saturday off bay breeze cove in the board bay neighborhood. paramedics took the boy to the hospital and say he was in a serious condition. it's unclear if the boy fell into the pond from the side or fell through thin ice on the surface. the child's family says they were at home, and the boy was missing for only a few minutes before they went looking for him. today the coast guard plans to hold a hearing on a cargo ship that sank in the caribbean. it's the first of two sessions on the el faro. the coast guard is expected to focus on the events that led up to the
