was wet weather, look at this yesterday, some areas certainly hit harder than others. this is china. torrential rains there battered provinces in eastern and southern central china. nearly 300,000 residents were affected, many were evacuated from their homes. meanwhile in texas, look at this, storms rolled through that area, particularly in the houston area, knocking out power to thousands of people. there were reports of winds up to 70 miles per hour. they had hail that was two inches in diameter. here at home a much different situation. we did get hit with some rain. it was pretty heavy yesterday in some areas, not as bad in other areas. hartford county, though, they got hit hard. >> exactly. they did get nailed with some rain. charley when he got in this morning, he said, lynette what happened. he just looked at me that way. the reason why we didn't get hit as hard is because the fact -- remember yesterday where i was showing the showers and thunderstorms over the ark-la- tex, that robbed us of the moisture. that's why we didn't see a lot of the rain across baltimore. >> basicall
