sherpa joke in your life. but we don't know how tall it is. for a long time china and nepal have had a dispute about it. kent jones will help me illustrate at the big board. so china claims that it 20,017 feet above sea level, right? nepal says it's taller, it's 12 feet taller. nepal says mt. everest is 20y 029 feet above sea level. why the difference? china measures from where the highest rock ends, nepal it has the highest point, including any snow. so that's who's right? well, in a diplomatic victory, break out the supplemental oxygen, tip your sherpas. we're here all week. while this is very exciting news, some geologists say that china and nepal are probably both wrong. tectonically speaking, everest is getting taller all the time, because the plate that has india on it is got shoved under the plate that has china and nepal on it, so everest is growing. also, in 1999, the boston museum of science and mask geographic society used gps to calculate the height. they said it toad 29,035 feet. that's six feet higher than what the nepal ease say, 18 higher than what the chinese say

growing demand in india and china international financial markets. the advantage, the idea of what president obama and democrats are doing with conservation is saying if you put in place policies like increasing the epa fuel mileage. president obama has mandated an increase of vehicle fuel economy to 55 miles per gallon average by 2025. if you have a car that gets 55 miles measure per gallon average matters less. it doesn't hurt your pocketbook. it doesn't hurt your household or economy because you don't need nearly as much gasoline to put in that more efficient conservative tank, fuel fuel-efficient, fuel-sipping tank. it does have an impact on the price but it does have an impact--it means that those prices aren't going to hurt the economy as badly. >> and without getting into the science i read certain issues related to gasoline additives that cause prices to go up in the summertime and go down in the winter. >> absolutely. i mean, we see this every single year. there's oil refiners each year ching their blends seasonally. they change it in spring and then again in fall. that do
