launch... on the other side of the world. china just launched its longest-manned space mission, earlier today. they sent two astronauts into orbit to spend a month on an experimental space station. the station was set into orbit last month. its designed to carry out a variety of experiments, and help them develop a ?larger space station by 20-22. the astronauts are expected to reach the space station it's been almost two years since this ?fiery mistake. an "orbital a-t- k" rocket exploded during take off, at it's launch pad in virginia. thankfully no ?humans were on board. it was carrying about 13 hundred pounds of food for astronauts on the international space station.((more)) later today, the private space company will try again. the "antares rocket" has gone through an extensive upgrade and the main engines have been replaced. and the rocket with more food and supplies to try another trip to the i-s-s. the launch was scheduled for sunday but was pushed back until tonight around 7-40. but since it's in virginia... and not florida... you ?won't be able to see it in the sky. bu

those crazy squares. search for dozens of trapped miners in china. state media there has just confirmed that ?all 33 of those miners have died. the bodies were recovered overnight. the group got trapped on monday when a flame or electrical the mine, could now face charges. a huge transit strike in pennsylvania... doesn't appear to be ending anytime soon. in fact, it could be getting ?worse. last night, protestors tried blocking ?regional trains in philadelphia from leaving their stations. thats the ?only train service currently running in the city. the transit authority had to get a court order to ?remove the protestors. those trains are now operating about 40 minutes late. the strike started yesterday... affecting tens of thousands of commuters. and finally... the ?cutest video you'll see all day. a baby panda cub! this is from zoo atlanta... where their 19 year old giant panda "lun-lun" just gave birth to a pair of female cubs. this is one of those twins. they are both two months old weighing just four pounds each. this is only the second pair of surviving panda cubs born in
