bao is leaving for china today. her journey begins at 10:00 this morning when they will use a special forklift to move her crate out of the zoo and drive her to dulles airport. the zoo will be closed this morning while she's being moved. it is time to say good-bye for good. she'll leave on a 16-hour one-way flight on the fed ex panda express across the oceans to china, her new home. she's going to be part of a conservation program there, hopefully become a mama someday herself. we're wishing her the best. >> looks like she's going to make a speech before she leaves. no, wait, the zoo officials will make a speech before she leaves. >> you can laugh all you want, she brought so much joy and delight to so many people that visited her over the years. keep sharing your with us. >> a lot of creative stuff out there. some cute stuff too. people of course with their panda bears and their t-shirts and whatnot, ordering from starbucks with the name bao bao. >> there are also photos from everyone who went to the zoo. it was very crowded the last few days. a lot of drawings and souvenirs.

were sending bao bao off to china. she's almost there, she had a nice flight and lots of snacks. >> good morning. and you survived. you guys survived. well, forget the panda cam because we have now got the panda tracker. we know that bao bao is very close to safely landing in her e. tracker. it shows that bao bao is scheduled to land probably in about an hour and a half right before the 6:00 hour this morning. we are going to work on getting that video of her grand arrival. we all said that final good-bye to the 3-year-old panda yesterday when she left via the panda express on her 16 hour journey. bao bao was eating. the officials saying that pandas spend 13 to 16 hours a day eating and they had 65 pounds of bamboo an board among other things in the suitcase. so she's probably very happy and ready for a good nap. she will eventually join a panda breeding program once she is in her new home. >> i spend about 13 hours eating too. i knew we were connected in many ways. >> now we understand. >> and eun, just so you feel comfortable the weather in china when bao bao lan cloudy so not
