a great threat and embarrassment to china, this is trying to help but with little success. a couple of thoughts off the bat just reading these tweets. first, the first confirmation of any kind from the united states government that this was, in fact, a nuclear test of the north koreans. that's important, they have misrepresented their accomplishments along the way. second you hear the president say it's hostile and dangerous to the united states specifically. not just to allies and friends in the region. having a specific threat in the united states and viewing the action through that prism could decide how to respond beyond using words. the third, looping in china. the president has tried all along in his response to north korea to make sure china is seib as both part of the problem in the past and part of the solution in the future. trying to draw chinese in, saying they are being embarrassed by this tiny neighbor country of theirs and seeing if perhaps china can be used to rein in north korea. another sign of how if you other options in the north korea threat. i'd be surprised if
