on at boerner botanical gardens in hales corners. the grounds are lit with the china lights display featuring more than 1000 lanterns -- all flown in from china. there's a 200-foot dragon lantern and a two-story palace lantern. you can go see it through the end of october in whitnall park. later today, it's the last day of milwaukee's original oktoberfest. events start at 10:00 this morning at pere marquette park and on the marcus center grounds. authentic bavarian foods and a beer garden are just some of the highlights. admission is free. oktoberfest runs until 6:00 tonight. you can also celebrate the fall season with cider sunday, taking place later today. families can come out to the wehr nature center in franklin to enjoy a variety of treats, there will also be live music, crafts, and guided hiking tours. money raised today will benefit operations at the nature center. meteorologist terminals and standing by the weather center. jeremy: tracking showers, i will let you know when dry weather returns, coming up. thema: thank you, jeremy. plus, it's the first weekend of october. pum

corner, three brothers, one of the buildings that was looted last night. bear china cleanout, as well. the windows have been boarded up, the sign torn off. they are here at restocking the items that were taken out and thrown across the parking lot. their sweeping up, trying to get cleanup done at the three brothers tobacco and grocery. tried to board up at 30 district but jet beauty. the front door and window have been broken and left open. police are still on the scene. they are trying to get the front windows boarded up. here's the auto parts, o'reilly auto parts. that building is totally devastated, as well. the roof has collapsed. this burn for a long time last night. milwaukee police s o the other scene was the bank building. it is just up the street. cleanup crews are there, as well. the final building that was burned is just on the street near 21st and buried lie. that is p.j.'s supermarket. that was burned about that. thema: we got update from milwaukee mayor tom barrett about the effort to get things under control. patrick: the mayor said this is a good neighborhood where peo

our jobs and send them off to china and mexico? i'm going to close those loopholes and help small businesses in wisconsin grow and create jobs. for the folks who work hard... for the middle class raising a family... thema: developing overnight, hurricane matthew is now a post tropical cyclone. right now, the storm is making its way through north carolina. the hurricane is blamed for at least 15 deaths in florida, georgia, and the carolinas. the storm is unleashing strong winds and record-breaking flooding this weekend in places bike charleston. officials are asking everyone to stay off of those flooded roads. some e.m.s. services haven suspended and that's what firefighters are saying caused a house fire in myrtle beach to spread. that fire destroyed several surrounding homes, but no one was hurt. right now thousands of people are still without power. around 50 wisconsin red cross workers are in the disaster zones helping victims this morning. the storm is much weaker than it was last week when it swept has been watching this storm since day one. where is the storm now. sally: wel
