high pressure here over ohio and kentucky. a little disturbance riding across the ohio river and great lakes. the high locked in. that keeps us dry and keeps all this unsettled -- these disturbance up north away from us. at least for the time being. now, there is some stuff developing down in the gulf coast region. storms coming off the pacific coast and northwest. they are two separate elements now. they are expected to come together in the central part of the nation and move in our direction. a lot of the energy to our north, high pressure will hang into the south over the southeast states. we'll get pieces of this come in early next week, but not the whole thing. so our forecast is fairly quiet here, and eventually a warming trend. we found out about the sun and summer storms and flares and summer winds pushing a lot of stuff in the direction of the earth. that was another one of those explosions or eruptions on the sun yesterday. and it's producing -- it will be producing aroras overnight. this is the latest imaginary wher

it warms up as you get down to into southeast virginia and out to the west in the ohio river valley. here you can see a cloud line. there is rain shower activity in these clouds. thunder examine lightning as well. a front stalled. yesterday clouds didn't break up until the afternoon. this front dissipates. it gets pushed to the south. is e there is unsettled weather out in the west down to the south. that isn't headed this way. it is a big area of high pressure that dominates our weather for a while and keeps temperatures up. east to northeast winds at 10 miles per hour. advisory in effect. southern half of delaware and also coastal areas of new jersey. so far they haven't issued one for maryland to eastern shore counties. i understand there is fog there as well. light east winds for boaters in the bay today. a one-foot schop on -- chop on the open waters of the bay today. tomorrow, a different flavor than today. next seven days above normal. 60's and 70's for highs. a higher rain chance thursday and friday. we could use rain. so it wouldn't be a bad idea. >> we're not in the habit o
