at the scene and was cited for failure to yield to pedestrians. >>> the victim was driving a minivan that flipped after collide being a sedan near oakland coliseum. tonight the alameda county coroner identified the victim as 32-year-old paul could. highway patrol said they saw the driver of the sedan ran from the scene. the car was stolen. investigators are asking anyone who saw the accident or suspect to contact them. >>> two high school students in san francisco may now be expelled after apparently taking a self-ie at school posing with a gun. a story you will see only on 2. >> reporter: a gun brought to balboa high school was kept a secret until a photo popped up online. two 16-year-old students posed with the loaded gun a bathroom and posted it on facebook. >> why would you put something like that on facebook period? that's stupid. >> reporter: justin is a senior who said he was in the bathroom when the group of boys were taking the picture last week. >> they said this thing is loaded. i heard the gun click like that i was like oh, yeah, they definitely got a gun. >> reporter: a

flames just took off from there. here's where that building is located just south of at&t park between channel and channel basin's street on fourth. right now this is the view from news chapper two over that sight. you can see it is still a very active scene. there are also still flames burning and firefighters as you can see here are pouring waters on what's left of the building. we have coverage beginning with ken pritchett. ken you just learned a firefighter was injured tonight. >> reporter: i talked to a fire department spokesperson. and he said that engine was on the last ladder truck to arrive. the fire was too hot. the flames too intense they had to retreat. they had to leave their truck behind for fear that the building would collapse down on the truck's location. that injured firefighter continued to fight this fire for hours. only later to report that he had minor to moderate burns to his face. as you can see, they are still pouring water on this building. at this point there are still hot spots. before this fire in mission bay was an inferno, a 911 call came in at 5:01. this

caterpillar pushed and pulled down the upper floors of the gutted building. all at the direction of san francisco fire. >> the demolition has done a great job of helping us, this afternoon and evening. >> reporter: the demolition crews also moved the pile of debris, exposing buried hot spots, which quickly flared up. >> which make it is easier for us. then we know exactly where it's smoulderring in the building. and we were able to knock it down. >> reporter: this is what the building looked like early this morning. >> it appears that the fire started above ground. they were doing some welding, we don't know what occurred there. >> reporter: arson investigators returned, and also questioned witnesses. beyond determining a cause, little remains but more demolition, and mopping up hot spots. >> there's no hazard to the public now. the fire is definitely contained. >> reporter: assistant chief frank lynn says that firefighters will be here overnight, keeping an eye on this structure, and also keeping an eye out for any smoke. he says that it could be well into tomorrow before the last

school at the center of a sexting scandals. tonight how inappropriate images could lead to criminal charges. good evening i'm julie haener. >> i'm frank somerville. a student is facing charges in a sexting scandal that led from one school to another. and the sexting led to one girl being blackmailed. credible >> reporter: the school resource officer launched an investigation found that more than a dozen boys were using their phones and other mobile media devices to distribute inappropriate photos. that officers investigation found that one boy a student at adam's middle was using photos of a female classmate to blackmail her right here on campus. >> we have been able to establish that there were acts, unlawful acts of unsexual conduct that took place during that threat that was made. >> reporter: investigators say inappropriate images were sent and received by students at adams, bristoll and exelsiur middle school. investigators say everyone involved including the alleged victim are between the ages of 12 and 14. despite their age the boys face very serious consequences. >> as of th

the scene now with the investigation that's under way at this hour. robert. >> reporter: there has been a lot of activities in and around this house within the past 45 minu investigators got a search warrant. a crime lab had been set up around 8:00 tonight. this is where deputies responded to a 911 call this afternoon and found a body of an difficult female. the asian family that lives here is a mother and father and two daughters. in fact, they have not said the exact whereabouts or status of the family members. the father were supposed to pick up the youngest daughter from school and return home and we understand that did not happen. the oldest daughter was seen at the house speaking with investigators, it is certainly the talk of the neighborhood. >> i heard there is some type of argument that occurred url in the morning and then the daughter came after school and found the mom. >> i am shocked and scared at the same time. how could this happen to our neighbor. >> reporter: now, back live where we have been watching investigators going in and out of the house. we understand they

made an arrest. the suspect is being questioned at this hour. the victim was a mother of four. she was on the sidewalk when the vehicle drove up and hit her. amber lee is live. >> reporter: just a few minutes ago, concord police came out and released these two photos for me. the top is the suspected hit- and-run driver tyler neil larsson of antioch and below that police say is the pickup that was involved in the hit- and-run crash. a few hours ago they were able to track down both in antioch. police arrested the antioch man. the victim yolanda tosquerino the father of four grown children had been living on the street and sometimes with friends. testorino's family gathered at the crash scene this afternoon. >> just come out here and have some sort of closure. just wanted to see it. it's hard. >> reporter: tosterino u w-z struck and killed thursday along willow road as it curves on fifth street -- tosterino was struck and killed thursday. >> i kneeled down and held her hand, i prayed with her. >> reporter: there's been 10 accidents in 13 years. still city engineers say that's not cause f

it is deputies used force safety and shot at the suspect. the suspect moved his vehicle in the direction of the deputies. >> reporter: a short while before the shooting the driver had led other sheriff deputies on a chase on sherry lane. deputies had tried to pull the driver over but the driver had taken off and the deputies lost sight of him until the deputy involved in the shooting spotted the driver and opened fire. >> the suspect was struck in the bicept. >> reporter: the suspect drove off again but they caught up with him when he tried to escape on foot. >> are you ready to release his identity? >> no that's still under investigation. we believe the suspect is a suspect from a 2:45 stabbing in hayward today. >> reporter: the shooting was unsettling to neighbors because they say this neighborhood is usually quiet. the deputy involved in the shooting has been with the alameda sheriff department for seven years. as standard procedure we're told he will be placed on paid leave while the incident is being investigated. live in san lorenzo, amber lee. >>> a confrontation in paci

and at the bay bridge toll plaza, no traffic yet as we head into san francisco. right now we will head out live where we have some traffic problems and this is some breaking news we told you about, concord police roll searching for a hit and ride drivers who got that person, the driver ploughed into a person who was walking along the sidewalk here in this area. you can see crime scene tape has gone up near 5th street and you can see them doing that are investigation, he died here at the an he drove off and everything happened here near 5 the street and police are not sure how far that slammed into the victim and they are still trying to notify families about what happened. officers are only able to get a vague description of the crash and they do however our traffic investigators lead investigator on this, he is end tomorrowly talented and we will not have to womb please as much as we can. that could be crucial as well, police have pulled some surveillance and they are hoping that will give them a better view of the pickup truck of the deadly crash that happened here late last nig
