you. live in lower salford township matt delucia, nbc 10 news. >>> nbc 10's jesse gary just arrived at a house fire in philadelphia. firefighters are searching for occupants of the home. what do you know? >> reporter: i just talked to firefighters. they say everyone is out of the home. they believe one of them may have been vacant. just within the past five or ten minutes able to tap out the flames on the home on the left. you can see the ladder crew to the left side of the screen. two firefighters on the ladder with a hose spraying the roof area of the home because the fire started on the first floor and went up to the second floor and then into the roof and then jumped to the neighboring home. these are both duplexes so jumped to the neighboring duplex to the right of the screen and now they are checking the back porch of that home because there was smoke inside. you can see a firefighter up on the second floor. the word from the fire department right now, no injuries and there was no one inside the homes at the time of this fire. we'll try to get more information and join you again

matt delucia is live on the scene. matt this swaying has not been the easiest for firefighters. somewhat unusual. explain this. >> reporter: yes, tracy, firefighters do have this fire under control but this has been a complicated one. i'll get out of the way, you can see the fire scene out here. we've seen -- we may be able to see the flashlight. it does appear that theh @ r(t&háhp &hc looking to see if there was anyone inside at the time it went up in flames. it's been very difficult, as i mentioned, you can see through the doors and windows, they were boarded up there's debris in there from particular to ceiling, wall to wall. a tough scene out here for firefighters firefighters. take a look at video. it started around 1:00 this morning. a lot of flames and smoke out here shooting through the roof. the firefighters had a lot of work ahead of them. the fire is under control. they have this mostly out. the ladder truck is still out here. they're still trying to put water on the hot spots as we see flare-ups every now and then. we haven't really seen any flames in the past 45 m

delmarva customers are still in the dark. nbc 10's matt delucia is live in gibbstown, gloucester county. matt what is the situation like there at this hour? >> well denise a lot of customers out here still do not have power. we're on one of the streets that does have power. we have the streetlights and some of the homes have their porch lights on. there's a whole lot of damage behind me here. this join the tree was uprooted as a result of that storm. you can see how big this tree is. it's now laying in the street. they've got the cones up out here. it's very difficult for a vehicle to get around here but as we get closer to the edge of the branches over here you can see what is under this tree, a car, crushed under the weight of this tree. a lot of folks still having to do cleanup, now going into day three of that cleanup effort. of course still a lot of people have no power at this hour. atlantic city electric is telling us they're going to hopefully have most of their customers up and running by midday tomorrow. hopefully all of their customers by sunday. pse&g, we're talked with them
