this vantage point the storms stretch from the tennessee valley to northern new england. we're looking at a good 400 or so lightning strikes in the last 15 minutes and the most severe part of the line right now is in central parts of pennsylvania as it is pushing slowly to the north and to the east. so here's what the threats are with these storms as they approach. lightning and downpours are the highest threat. the strong winds large hail and an ice layed possible tornado in those far northwestern counties is a moderate risk so again the downpours and lightning will take the cake as these push -- these storms pass through. right now it is warm, it is muggy everywhere. it's 85 in philadelphia as well as allentown, 83 in wilmington. to the south temperatures are cooler with the wind coming off the ocean. with the winds coming off the ocean as the storms pass philadelphia they should weaken because of that marine air that will help stabilize the atmosphere. when i come back we'll talk about future tracker time those storms and also give you that seven-day forecast for the rest of
