shooting death of unarmed black man. former north charleston police officer michael slager was caught on camera last april firing his gun eight times as walter scott tried to run away during a traffic stop. the judge said releasing slager would constitute an unreasonable danger to the community in his words. >>> we are learning new details about the shooting death of a kentucky state trooper. police say joseph cameron ponder was trying to an arrange lodging for occupants of a car when the driver took off at speeds up to 115 miles an hour. during a second stop, a short time later. the driver opened fire on ponder, killing him. that driver was later killed by police after a massive manhunt. >>> some new government guidelines now say that low dose aspirin taken daily can help prevent heart attacks and stroke, but not for everyone. the new recommendation for preventive aspirin use is specifically for people in their 50s and 60s with a high risk of heart disease and a low risk of bleeding side effects. but as always, they say doctors should decide what's best for their patients. >>> and he
