the army corp of engineers is warning iowans about ice safety on lakes. the corps says the ice won't likely support you, if you go out on it. saylorville lake was 30-feet above normal on december 22nd.. and has been falling a foot a day since. if ice forms, the water levels will fall and won't be there to support it. it also causes the shorelines to be slippery. the corps says ice on lakes and rivers is always questionable because the moving water weakens the ice. rescue crews worked for six hours in the cold temperatures to recover the body of a man trapped in a trench in altoona. channel 13's jodi whitworth is back from the scene... she joins us know with more... 30 year old justin joregson was three this afternoon. he worked for the saint charles based company -- j-r-s excatving -- where family friends say he worked with his brother. authorities say jorgensen was working in a trench with an excavating tool when the dirt caved in around him. crews estimate the pit was about 10 to 12 feet deep and it did not have a trench wall to brace it's sides. they also said the dirt and c
