snow pushed east of the boston area. from weymouth, marshfield down to plymouth and bourne and this one little intense burst from acton to sudbury. we still have the snow out there by 7:00 this morning steadier stuff is beginning to shift off shore. that's within the next hour. notice by 9:00 this morning, a lot of the snow is gone. so things will improve. 2-4 inches on average for most of us. but there have been higher totals south of boston. locally some spots up to about five inches of snow. we have an arctic front crossing the area this morning so it's in the 20's now but even with the sun coming out, lunchtime through the afternoon, temperatures hold in the 20's but winds pick up out of the west 15-25, gusting higher. single digits wind chills. the cold is incoming but we've got snow out there now. and trouble you say south of boston right now. olessa: we are watching one accident on 24 south of town. a live look at the expressway first. by the gas tank we're seeing a lot more of that blacktop. crews have been working hard to get that snow off the road but it's still slippery.
