hillary clinton and brny saerni sanders. headlines are reflecting the widely held expectation of a big clinton win. could her margin of victory end up being the real story here? >> i think so, fred. she needs a breakout moment in the primaries. she hasn't had one yet. iowa was very close. new hampshire, she lost in a blowout to bernie sanders. and nevada was pretty close, too. so hillary clinton needs a breakout win in this state. a lot of people suggesting it has to be in double digits. the question is whether bernie sanders can close the gap, perhaps even within single digits. she wants that blowout win to propel her into super tuesday. so she's been pushing very hard for it and we'll see if she gets it, fred. >> so the roll of the african-american vote in this state, very important. it's part of the story here in the palmetto state. does clinton need a rather sizable turnout as it pertains to a black voters here in order to do well in this state? >> that's been the whole strategy she's been making the point that once you

hillary clinton's campaign has $38 million in the bank. plus she's got another $36 million in superpac money that's being spent on her behalf. so you add all that up, that is a sizable cash advantage for secretary clinton. that is part of why she's still seen as the front-runner for the democratic nomination even though they tied in iowa and he won big in new hampshire. honestly, though, if you look at the difference in that money, if bernie sanders has many more days in which he raises $6 million in 24 hours, that clinton advantage will start to disappear. and if bernie sanders and hillary clinton end up being, you know, on par in terms of fund-raising, and the money they've got to spend on this campaign, if they end up being equal, he ends up surpassing her, that will be yet another way in which the 2016 democratic presidential primary is starting to look like the 2008 democratic presidential primary. because back in 2008, barack obama may have been brand new to the national political stage when he started his campaign in springfield, il

what is next for hillary clinton? >> i am here with a big supporter of hillary clinton. you were with barack obama in 2008. what went wrong here? >> we knew we had an uphill fight ring against the next-door neighbor, the next-door neighbors always win in new hampshire. that was a hard thing for us. the voters are in a tough mood this year. they are not real happy. they' re going to vote for donald trump and bernie sanders tonight but i think the biggest obstacle was the next-door neighbor difficulties. new hampshire does stand for the people who live nearby. she will do a lot of reorganizing with her campaign. she is not happy with the message that came out of here that she should have known ahead of time that the discontented voters should have sharpened her message. that she once again move too late -- did she want to get move too late? >> the one thing hillary clinton did is talk about a lot of issues and bernie sanders stayed razor sharp on one issue, income inequality. there will be a discussion about what the topics will be for discussion as we go on to the next ro
