kpix 5's jackie ward joins us live from vallejo where pearl's sister is speaking for the first time since the suspect was killed. >> reporter: michelle, her sister's name is rose and rose broke down in tears to us about all that's happened in the past couple of days. this is where pearl was last seen and where friends and family have set up a display of hope. it's the pedestrian bridge that crosses over 780. it has a lot of flowers, cards and messages of faith and love. we spoke to pearl's older sister rose this morning. she says her sister is a fighter and she is pleading with her to stay strong and send clues about where she is if at all possible. rose says she is glad fernando castro, the man police are calling pearl's kidnapper, is dead. but at the same time, it's frustrating. >> it's upsetting that fernando was killed because he is the one with our answers to our questions. he's the one [ indiscernible ] who knows where she is at, where she could have been left at and he -- he knows every, single thing. >> reporter: this is video of the events leading up to his death yesterday. you c

kpix five's joe vazquez is >>> tonight two nevato high school students are behind bars suspected of shooting two classmates. the man hunt is not over yet. >> reporter: that's right, ken. they're still looking for one more suspect. the two teenagers they arrested go to school at nevado high.. investigators removed bags of evidence. the boy is 16 years old they showed us the apartment near by where he lives, it has been ransacked by police. a sheriff spokesman says this young man and another teenager arrested here today are students at nevado high school and they're the suspect of a murder and attempted murder of two other students. the shooting victim survive. one more suspect is on the loose. an army of s.w.a.t. officers had been looking for the suspects all day. >> i was sitting on my porch and they had a big tactical. and eight cops went in the house. they had big rifles and tackty cal gear. and only one man came out. they only arrested one man in the house. >> reporter: this is the backyard where the other teenage suspect was arrested. the cops kicked the gate in and also knocked down par

kpix 5's anne makovec joins us live from the school, where a press conference just wrapped up. anne. >> reporter: this is a small community. so a lot of questions about these two students shot and stabbed. we don't know their identities, nor the identities of the attackers. >> this is an incredibly tough time for our community and i know novato will pull together. >> reporter: at about 5:30 last night, a teenager called 911 to report he had been shot and stabbed near the end of fairway drive. as he was rushed to the hospital, officers combed the open space nearby and found a second teenager shot dead. the only description of the suspects, three hispanic men. neighbors say they saw a white sedan speed from the scene. >> a lot of people are providing us information. we are able to put these pieces together, which is painting a better complete portrait of what took place. >> reporter: officers are combing the trails for more evidence. a spokesman says he doesn't know the attackers' motive but he will say -- >> there's no further threat to the community at this point. >> reporter:

kpix 5's kiet do joins us live from el camino real with the latest. >>> reporter: the fire chief are getting it under control in the next couple of minutes. multiple crews have been spraying water on it for two hours although you can see flames. they are trying to keep it from spreading to neighboring businesses so they have been spraying water on the far side of the fire. some of the video we shot this morning when the fire started around 2:45. they believe it start in a restaurant called the [ indiscernible ] , the rancho shopping complex off el camino real. it has destroyed at least three or four neighboring businesses. there are about a dozen in the complex. it's hard to tell what is what because of the signs burned down. this building is older and there are access issues, trying to cool down the building so it doesn't spread to neighboring businesses, as well. i did mention that this is five alarms. they have four alarms now actively fighting the fire and the fifth crew here, the fifth alarm, is here to support the firefighters who are now getting very tired fighting this fire h
