, argued with bernie sanders because he argues there should be a, more of a government-run healthcare system rather than expanding obamacare. now he has this new plan out to expand medicare, cover more people in the direction of single payer, and dozens of democrats are behind it. are they making a mistake? >> no, it's an aspirational goal, i believe in universal healthcare coverage that is affordable and high quality. there are a number of ways to get there. i think some are more likely than others. during the primary campaign, i did defend the affordable care act because for the first time in our history we had 90% of americans covered, and as i said over and over again, it's a lot easier to get from 90 to 100% than ripping it up and starting all over again. but as someone who's worked on healthcare, to try to get to universal coverage for 25 years, it matters how much it costs, it matters what people feel about giving up what they already have, and half of america gets healthcare from their employers, it matters what kind of standards are going to be expected in whatever

single payer movement on the democratic side led by bernie sanders. he said he'll have tax reform proposed by the week of september 25th. i'm not even halfway done. this is quite a little conversation. he said the tax reform is not going to be something for the rich. he said -- now this is where it gets good. it's going to be revenue neutral. revenue neutral means it doesn't cost any more money, doesn't add anything to the debt but he said it will be revenue neutral when you add growth. we are at 3% growth. we hid 3% growth from one quarter. we did that eight times during the obama administration. growth is 2.2%. so donald trump was misleading here again, as he always is when it comes to gdp growth. i'm going to need a few minutes for this. he always talks about 3% growth. we're at 2.2% growth, kind of where we've been for a few decades. if you get 1% of extra growth it takes care of a lot of problems. that's simply not true. and we're not going there but he said we're going to grow like a rocket ship. talked about companies coming back to the united states, which i thought was a
