[ laughter ] cigarettes are hard to quit once you've started and i don't even think i'm addicted to cigarettes, that's the hard part. for me is, i think what i'm addicted to is always having in my pocket a reason to walk away from any conversation. [ light laughter ] i think that's -- [ applause ] really the best part of smoking. you can't replace that with a patch. it doesn't have -- you need the cigarette to get you out. for me, a cigarette is just my way of telling somebody, "hey, just so you know, i would rather kill myself than have this conversation, i really would."
