the search has resumed as nbc bay area reporter bob redell says that the focus is shifting offland. >> the search for the elderly couple who disappeared in marin county has shifted into the waters and on to the shorelines behind me. this morning, divers with the marin county sheriff's office left the inverness yacht club where we are right now took off in boats out into the bay to use a canine and submarine remote control sonar to look for any signs of the missing couple. the marin county sheriff's couple says they have no new information that the couple would be out here, but a logical extension of the search now into the sixth day. carol kaparsky and ian irwin were vacationing in inverness and left behind the phones and wallets and hiking gear and have not been seen since. >> any implication or indications of foul play? >> we don't have any imd pndicas of foul play and they are searching financial records and talking to friends and family and reinterviews and no indication of foul play, but we don't know what happened to them. talking to the family yesterday, it is like they got bea

bob redell is just leaving the news conference. what is revealed about those murder, bob? >> well, marcus, law enforcement believes that the two boys were killed as a result of a war between two rival street gangs and a war they believe it has been going on since 2005. the two alleged gang members who have been arrested for murdering the 11-year-old and 14-year-old boy at a union city elementary school are teenagers as well. police have arrested 18-year-old jason cornejo there and also a 17-year-old boy from hayward and they are not releasing his name because he is a juvenile. and so both are in custody on nonrelated charges, but they are accused of killing seanwithington and kevin hernandez. the boys were shot at 1:00 in the morning on november 23rd as they sat in this minivan in the parking lot of saerls elementary. and the law enforcement executed six warrants throughout the east bay and this is last thursday february 6th, and in this photo, the deputies and authorities seized 40 pounds of marijuana and meth and a couple of handguns and assault weapons and several high

and traveling from travis air force base is bob redell with the latest. >> yes, we know that there are 14 americans who landed here in travis who have contracted the coronavirus and they were supposed to have received treatment at some placeer than travis air force base and obviously camp roberts which is near paso robles, but it is not confirmed. they contacted the illness on the island princess docked off of the coast of japan and they and 300 passengers took two charter flights back to the united states and one landed in travis and another in lackland air force base in san antonio, and in this video posted by the husband and wife there to travis, it shows everyone in face masks and the medical personnel in full-length protective gear and also an isolation chamber for those 14 case, and the passengers decided to leave the cruise ship where there are 99 total confirmed cases, and this is after the u.s. officials came on board and encouraged them to disembark and come back home. >> and any of you guys want to go back to the u.s.? isrit? you are much safer getting off of this ship. >> o
