two boys murdered in the east bay. months after the crime, police are announcing arrests. bob redell is just leaving the news conference. what is revealed about those murder, bob? >> well, marcus, law enforcement believes that the two boys were killed as a result of a war between two rival street gangs and a war they believe it has been going on since 2005. the two alleged gang members who have been arrested for murdering the 11-year-old and 14-year-old boy at a union city elementary school are teenagers as well. police have arrested 18-year-old jason cornejo there and also a 17-year-old boy from hayward and they are not releasing his name because he is a juvenile. and so both are in custody on nonrelated charges, but they are accused of killing seanwithington and kevin hernandez. the boys were shot at 1:00 in the morning on november 23rd as they sat in this minivan in the parking lot of saerls elementary. and the law enforcement executed six warrants throughout the east bay and this is last thursday february 6th, and in this photo, the deputies and authorities seized 40 pounds of marij
