right now in napa county and out towards selano county which we'll show you on the radar. first let's look at the bay in san francisco. we're looking to the west. high pressure starting to build in. we'll see more clearing skies as you see there going through the weekend, but right now we have tropical low pressure moving to the east. we still have showers firing up right off to the east of highway 101 and also 82 there, around coyote and around evergreen. you're seeing just a few widely scattered light showers. but more substantial showers continue, even a little bit of thunder around areas east of napa. this is right to the east of the silverado trail and over towards wooden valley road. you can see that pretty intense cell there likely dropping some hail. notice where it's going, though, heading to vacaville to the south and east, and once the sun sets, we'll lose that power for these convection type showers. for the month of april, most of the bay area averages about an inch of rain for the month, so if you get to an inch and a half, you're just smashing records and we

state hospital a far cry from last night -- all is quiet today outside of napa state hospital. the that victim told me he was attacked twice by a second the patient. >> he gave me a black eye and was trying to gouge me with a pen. >> reporter: 42-year-old patient anthony craig gray is now at the jail facing several chargeless. they include attempted murder, assault with a weapon and two counts of battery with a police officer. other patients told me they saw the whole thing. >> he was wrestling with the staff. he hit one staff. police came, he hit the police. >> reporter: the hospital which ktvu has found has glossed over events like this in the past released a brief statement act the incident. it said, the patient was allegedly threatened and later three staff were allegedly injured. >> now that's [ bleep ] now. he attacked me, beat me up. he could have killed me. >> reporter: the psych tech who was assaulted told ktvu she has a black eye, was with a doctor all day and can't stop crying. hospital fishes say, mr. gray could end up right back here at the hospital. in napa, i'm j
