if you're in the north bay, you'll see showers. san francisco and points north. but then if you're south, you'll see haze and cloud cover. a mix -- a good mix of sun and clouds farther south you go. the farther south you go it will be warm. warming trend going to continue into next week with dry conditions. unfortunately no rain in sight except today and tomorrow. that's across the north bay. doppler radar doesn't show a lot of that. you have to get up towards ukiah and north of clearlake to find showers. that will be the trend through the next few hours. not expecting widespread rain event. because the system's so far to the north, we're getting the tail end of the cold front. winds are stagnant today. we have spare the air, air quality across the north bay and the peninsula. temperatures not bad. in the 40s and 50s, with fog and drizzle in the north bay. and really, rainy activity will stay points from san francisco north. everywvr else, south of the golden gate bridge, mix of sun and clouds. 56 east shore. 64 sf. close to 70 south bay. this warming trend will

north bay, the coast, and central bay have poor air quality. snow woodburning throughout the day today. you can already see it. you saw yesterday the haze in the atmosphere. look for the warmer temperatures to build in by monday and tuesday with plenty of 60s around the bay. ridge begins to slide to the east. not totally break down. we were looking at a system that perhaps could bring us some rain, but unfortunately looking at dry conditions. the best chance of showers coming in to the north bay on thursday. so here it is. double barrel high pressure with the strong ridge lasting into monday and tuesday. in fact, the closer it gets, it builds and allows for some fog and warmer temperatures to sit overhead, also creating the stagnate conditions. we will look for the slowly moderating temperatures throughout the morning hours tomorrow and into monday with some fog and as a result afternoon temperatures will warm up. not today, though. 53 concord, 55 fremont. 57 san jose. 58 santa cruz with low 50s up in the north bay. overnight lows tonight, chec

we will see where the rain is now, across the north bay one line, between cloverdale and st. helena where you see the circle seven and live doppler hd is going back six hours you can see really nice precipitation shield but it is falling apart as the moisture is now moving on and thanks to the 130 miles per hour jet stream. the clouds are rolling through because of the fast jet stream especially over the mountains where we had a stray shower in lake tahoe but that is it. you will not get anymore snow. first, sutro tower is hazy and it and mainly cloudy headed through the south bay looking at downtown in the san jose bureau camera. if you are stepping out most of us are in the mid-to-upper 40's and 47 in antioch and fairfield where the fog was thickest this morning to 52 in santa rosa where we had the heavy rain and the golden gate bridge is not the greatest weekend to be taking pictures because this haze and the clouds are going to hang around for the better part of the weekend and it will be mostly cloudy and mild with a chance of a stray shower and "spare the air" today and
