steve: thank you. the department of education says it's adding 4,500 half-day seats to the city's pre-k program. that's just in time for back to school. the announcement comes after orthodox jewish schools asked for the seats. education officials say the city will continue a modest program, but are urging parents to consider enrolling their children in full day pre-k which has 70,000 spots. dari: stony brook university hospital on long island celebrating a milestone. that is baby luke. he was delivered on monday and became the hospital's 100,000th birth. he and his family met the first baby to be delivered at the hospital, born in may of 1980 when the labor and delivery program began. if you do the math, he's 35 now. today nearly 4,000 babies are delivered at the hospital each year. steve: pretty cool. let's talk about the weather. today was technically cooler, but the humidity was really noticeable. >> we told you it would make things uncomfortable. different from the weekend. we had temperatures into

steve and his wife took their purchases to the cabin. deborah may have found evidence that steve had been there earlier with his lover. regardless, the forensic evidence suggests an argument ensued and had turned violent. while in the jeep, steve repeatedly smashed deborah's head into the mirror knob and side window causing the brain injuries that killed her. then steve tried to devise a plan to cover up the crime. while driving home, he saw the parked car alongside the highway and decided to stage an accident. he got the jeep into position moved his seat back with his bloody hands, made sure his seat belt was fastened while deborah's wasn't, then braced himself for impact. the jeep traveled 130 feet at 40 miles per hour directly into the back, left side of the parked car. deborah's arm and bloody sweater struck the windshield, proof that she was bleeding before the crash. after the crash, steve tried to break the side window to make the crash look worse, but a passing motorist stopped before steve could do it. >> i'm convinced he contri

steve: correct. stephanie: do you run the risk that banks will get wise and stop lending and get back in the business their cells -- themselves? steve: that is a risk that there are so many lenders that trust our track record. we have done 28,000 transactions that banks are comfortable lending us -- stephanie: i'm not saying they are not comfortable lending you money but the more successful you come, the bank could look and say i need a new revenue stream and i will do it myself. stve: that is possible but i don't think thanks really can't approve a loan in 45 seconds and fund within two hours and these are often nonrecourse, non-collateralized loan, and it is a different business. stephanie: i guess my fear is should alone ever be approved and 45 seconds? that does not feel good to me. what is the benefit of 45 seconds? steve: it is speed, transparency and the likelihood of success for the business owner. a business owner can come in in a matter of moments and find out if you will get funded or not.
