st. a common complaint comes from school who bring students is the aroma is distracting to students. food truck association is looking to add another zone. they want to feed homeless. association currently has 25 members, will add 3 more in next year. started with 7 members. 17 trucks received permits. 2 trucks went under during pilot program. no calls into fire dept or police concerning food trucks. also, would like to find zones in neighborhoods and parks. had 2 successful festivals. had an issue with trash but fixed it for second event. 2nd festival brought in over 115k in revenue. had over 12,000 visitors. expect a little grumbling on cost of permits. trucks will run into thanksgiving or until weather shuts them down.
