mid-60s. 66 for new bedford today. the temperatures have been knocked back a touch, but also specifically along the coastline. you get that on-shore breeze or light wind, doesn't take much in the afternoon, and those temperatures will knock back. you have to remember the temperature readings are not taken in the direct sunlight. if you get out in the direct sunlight, like we've been seeing for the last couple of days, it could easily feel five to ten degrees warmer. high pressure has been keeping our temperatures high, but tomorrow, clouds on the increase as early as overnight tonight. it does take us on a temperature roller coaster. we were in the low 60s today, tomorrow closer to 70, then back down to the low 60s as we kick off the weekend, but a run out and enjoy the weather kind of day, because we are expecting showers. clouds moving in overnight tonight into the early hours of tomorrow morning. we stay dry until the afternoon hours. we can see these scattered, isolated showers popping up as we get past the 2:00 p.m. hour, and they continue into the evening hours as well.
