. wind, beach erosion and factor. liz joins us live from belmont new jersey down the shore. good morning, liz liz: good morning. the snow is on the bottom of the list for the mayor and residents. the big concern is the coastal flooding and the potential storm surge that could have devastating effects. this is what is happening. the massive sand dunes were built over the past 24 hours. we saw bold overs here constructing the dunes to protect the area in case the water comes up this high. this is stretching a mile down the beach now and it will be the first line of defense if there is a strong storm surge. the mayor says the dunes will get a lot of work this we know this area was hit hard by sandy and i want to show you the boardwalk. it's all brand-new. storm surge will come up this high because the area has already seen a ton of damage. people know what to do. they already have the to go bags packed and so far the mayor has said areas like this don't have to evacuate but that could change as we see the storm progress. ben and juliet, back over to you. >> there is so much to talk
