meteorologist david murphy is tracking it all from the "action news" big board. >>> we had two storms we have one going up the coast. if this storm was closer to the coast, we could be dealing with a major storm snowstorm, but it's not. it's been primed to be well off the coast over the last five days and ended up acting like the models thought it would. we have another system coming in today and tomorrow night. it's a much-less organized system even tricky to call in terms of snowfall amounts and the timing when the snow comes in. getting back to the coastal flood warning that sarah and rick were talking about moments ago it is in atlantic county and north and we expect more flooding at times of high tides tonight. there's a watch up and down this area for tomorrow morning and we could be back to some moderate flooding in parts of the region tomorrow. the other issue, of course is the winter storm watch this kicks in later tonight and extends into tuesday night and counties we expect to get mainly hit by this would be from philadelphia delaware county, chester county and points south

gray hall is live in montgomery but first lets check in with david murphy outside. david, the storms packed a powerful punch. >> reporter: they did. i want to take you back to yesterday at 5:00, it was still just pretty much rain and we saw the heavier cells highlighted in yellow gathering force and then 7:00 there was a really good thunderstorm plowing through areas of trenton up from south jersey, but look at the area to the west at 7:00 that was the heavy thunderstorm a possible tornado maker pushing in on lancaster and gap and the same line pushing through trees and wires through parts of the region from 9:00 until 11:00 and it was pushing away from us. and lots of damage, mount laurel wires and trees down and albertson a 63 miles per hour wind gust that is enough to cause damage and vineland and bridgeton, in new jersey trees and wires down there as well. and now we transition to mostly cloudy skies and could get a peek of sun at time and light green to the west we could see a spotty shower pop lieu. and lingering flooding too. most of this is moderate flooding
