. the richland two school board wants to hear from students... about the october incident involving then-school resource officer ben fields and a female student. the school board is proposing a student advisory council. the council would be made up of student representatives from each high school, middle school and elementary school in the district. members would meet with the school board on a regular basis. parents say, they're in favor of the new council. 33 members of the school board say they hope to complete the application process by the end of this school year so that the start of they new year. one batesburg business is assessing the damage left behind from this week's storms. the national weather service has confirmed a microburt in lexington county during wednesday's severe storm. crews are busy working to clean up the debris scattered across "tracy's logging." the national weather service said the microburst that hit the area packed 70 miles-per-hour winds, strong enough to leave its mark. but despite the clean up... residents say, they're still counting their blessings.
