yet another storm and the norovirus forced royal caribbean to cut the latest cruise short. eyewitness news reporter darla with more. darla. lori. the anthem of the seas is expected to dock here around 6:00 this morning and the passengers disappointed will have to come through those doors after cutting their vacation short. in fact, 6,000 passengers are coming home, cutting their trip short because of bad weather, but royal caribbean is hoping to avoid the catastrophe it had last month when it sailed into a hurricane and you had passengers and furniture tossed around and 120 mile per hour winds and 30-foot waves. so on monday based on the forecast, royal caribbean decided to turn around. it sent out this tweet saying the sail home has been smooth and nothing is more important to us than the safety of our so also, as you mentioned, lori, on top of this bad weather forecast, about 10 passengers a day on that anthem of the seas cruise ship experienced norovirus symptoms. but royal caribbean says it had no impact on their decision to return home. reporting live in bayonne, darl
