ken, over to you. >> heather, thank you. >>> 6:32. developing this morning police shot a man several times in a quiet new jersey community. eyewitness news reporter darla miles is live in butler with what we know this morning. darla. >>reporter: well, ken, i just spoke with a person who lives down the street here. he told me that it looks like this shooting happened outside yesterday evening. he said there were even officers in his back yard looking for evidence. and that's pretty consistent with what we've seen this morning, lots of officers out here this morning taking photographs and collecting evidence. this is what we know so far. police might have been responding to a call about a on bellevue avenue here in butler. when officers arrived, they encountered a 23-year-old man. now, at some point police drew their weapons and fired off multiple shots, striking that suspect at least four times. his condition is unknown this morning, but we do know that he was taken to st. joseph's hospital in paterson to be treated. now, here's a live
